Any plans on how to spend Thursday November 2nd? Better take the day off work, because we can literally picture you queuing outside H&M for a chance to lay your hands on their latest limited collaboration. This season, the popular Swedish high street label collaborates with our forever favourite Erdem Moralioglu and we can only expect insanely floral patterns, romantic ruffles and Victorian-inspired necklines.

To celebrate this new chapter, the luxury label worked closely with filmmaker Baz Luhrmann for the purposes of a short film that would bring the collection to life (and tease our senses in the meantime), a few months before the big reveal:

« I'm so happy to collaborate with H&M and to explore my work on a whole new scale, including a menswear collection which I have never done before » said the designer a few days ago.

So, while we wait for some images of the highly anticipated collaboration, let's take the chance to appreciate Erdem's undeniable talent by exploring his FW 2017-2018 collection. With an obvious return to the East, his new line is full of bright colours and rich, aristocratic materials such as velvet and lace. Vivid yellows, pretty pastel blues and timeless purples turn every single gown into a piece of art.

What are your thoughts on the news of the upcoming H&M collaboration? Any expectations or hopes for the collection?
